Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TextAgent application and related services. By using TextAgent, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

TextAgent is an iOS application that provides AI-powered SMS filtering and classification. The app uses Apple's IdentityLookup framework to filter messages from unknown senders, helping you organize and protect your text message inbox.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TextAgent. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

3. Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

4. Subscription Tiers

TextAgent offers three subscription tiers:

• Free: Basic spam blocking and categorization with limited AI features
• Pro ($5.99/month or $59.99/year): Enhanced AI features, unlimited rules, and Pro rule packs
• Ultra ($12.99/month or $99.99/year): All Pro features plus advanced AI engine, AI Protect mode, and priority support

Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change with notice.

5. Payments and Billing

• All payments are processed through Apple's App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use TextAgent for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Upload malicious rules to the Rule Marketplace
• Abuse the AI Agent or chat features to generate harmful content
• Circumvent subscription restrictions or usage limits
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

7. Rule Marketplace

• Rules shared on the marketplace must not contain malicious patterns
• We reserve the right to remove rules that violate these Terms
• Rule creators grant TextAgent a license to distribute their rules through the marketplace
• We do not guarantee the effectiveness of community-created rules

8. AI Features

• AI-powered features (chat, agent, rule generation) are provided "as is"
• AI responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
• Usage limits apply based on your subscription tier
• We reserve the right to modify AI capabilities and usage limits

9. Intellectual Property

TextAgent and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TextAgent and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TextAgent is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All spam or scam messages will be correctly identified
• Legitimate messages will never be incorrectly filtered
• The AI features will always produce accurate results

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextAgent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, missed messages, or business interruption.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to TextAgent at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of TextAgent after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
